Expedition 2012: Arunachal Pradesh | One Man's Road
Through years of working in the jungles of North East India Jason's desire for adventure, exploration, documentary/ethnographic photography and his love for the people of N.E. India has only amplified. He has been in 6 of the 7 north east States, but never was able to enter Arunachal Pradesh, until now.
Arunachal Pradesh is bordered on three sides by Bhutan, China/Tibet and Myanmar with the rest of India to the South. About ½ of Arunachal Pradesh is positioned in the Himalayan Mountains. The people range from Tibetic Buddhist tribes to animistic hill tribes and everything in between. There are so many isolated tribal peoples scattered throughout the state and this is what Jason is interested in documenting.
Jason's desire has always been to go up to Arunachal Pradesh, into the tribal villages of the Himalayas and explore. There are many undocumented areas, many unseen faces, and so many untold stories in 'the land of the rising sun.' He intends to visit places unseen by foreigners, document through photography and writing, and show the rest of the world what a beautiful place this land is... CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING...
